Norman and Co Motorworks doesn't just want customers, we want to build a community.
The beginning
It started the way it always does.
Every great shop has an origin story. Ours starts with a tent, a rescued raccoon, and a refusal to see anything other than beauty in vintage vehicles. Norman and Co Motorworks was born from a lifelong obsession with the machines that defined American culture — the cars that carried families across the country, raced through the streets, and defined what it meant to be American.
We're based in the Southeast, where car culture runs deep and the weather allows for cruising nine months out of the year. We are starting small and will grow deliberately — because we believe the best work comes from shops that never rush, never cut corners, and never stop caring about the details.
At the moment, we're building our portfolio through in-house projects — show cars and restorations that demonstrate exactly what we're capable of. We want you to see the work before you trust us with yours.

No shortcuts
We do it right or we don't do it. Every panel, every weld, every stitch is held to the same standard — the one we'd hold ourselves to on our own cars.
Respect the original
These cars have history. We honor it. Whether we're restoring to factory spec or building a restomod, we never lose sight of what made the car special in the first place.

We're not mechanics who learned to appreciate classic cars. We're enthusiasts who learned to work on them. That difference shows in everything we do.
The namesake
Meet Norman
Norman is our rescued raccoon and the heart of this shop. He came into our lives the way the great things do, unexpected and a little rough around the edges. He's been a fixture in the garage ever since by supervising builds, inspecting parts, and generally making sure the work gets done right.
The shop is named after him because he embodies what we're about; scrappy, curious, and not afraid to get his hands dirty. Norman doesn't cut corners, and neither do we.
We're just getting started.
